What to Bring to Your Pole Dance Photoshoot: The Ultimate Checklist

A well-packed bag can make or break your photoshoot experience. Here’s a detailed checklist to ensure you have everything you need:

  • Clothing and Accessories: Pack at least three outfit changes. Include backup options in case something doesn’t work as expected. Don’t forget your favorite pole heels, leg warmers, or gloves if they fit the theme.

  • Makeup and Touch-Up Essentials: Even if you have your makeup professionally done, bring items for touch-ups, such as powder, lipstick, and a compact mirror. Blotting papers are essential for keeping shine at bay.

  • Props: Props like fabric, ribbons, or even a hat can add an artistic flair to your photos. Ensure they align with the shoot’s concept and don’t overwhelm the images.

  • Comfort Items: Include a water bottle to stay hydrated, a towel for wiping off sweat, and some light snacks to maintain your energy.

  • Grip Aids: Bring your preferred grip aid and an extra bottle just in case. Discuss with your photographer beforehand if you’re unsure about using certain products on their pole.

  • Mood Board or References: Print or save photos that represent the poses, lighting, and style you’re aiming for. Sharing these with your photographer can ensure a shared vision.

  • Emergency Kit: Hair ties, safety pins, and even a small sewing kit can be lifesavers during the shoot.
